Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) help residents find their voice again, whether it’s expressing needs, holding conversations, or simply enjoying a meal. Through deep collaboration with the care team, they tailor treatment that restores vital connections between communication, identity, and quality of life.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements and Responsibilities:
  • Master’s degree in communication disorders from an accredited program
  • Current state license and ASHA certification (as applicable)
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with physician directives
